      I LOVE THIS CAR

by Emma on 9/9/2026 2:19:46 PM

with over 150,000 miles on it, you couldn't tell it's 15 years old, this car works better than some of my friends brand new cars. It has a key ignition with still gives off that classic charm, no buttons to turn the car on so it feels more intimate, just that car and driver with no abnoxious beeping. She runs better than my friends brand new jeep and I love her so much. Such a reliable car. I once got T-boned a few years back in this car, the other car blew a light and the speed that car was going at 40 mph. Both of my Santa Fe's right side doors were busted, they were caved in and couldn't open but the inside remaied perfectly fine. No one got hurt, only the outside of the car was dented. The outside of the car ended up being totaled but I pressed insurance to have it fixed even if it would cost more money, when that car came back it was as good as knew. Fast forward 7 years later, that car still runs like it did the first day I brought it. Mine has a V6 engine that makes me feel like i'm in a sports car. I love that car. If you are thinking about buying second hand, as long as you take care of that car, trust me, you won't regret it.

      Reliable

by Chappy on 11/15/2025 11:14:08 AM

I bought this car with 196k miles on it because I needed something quick and the price was right. I commute 52 highway miles one way, (104 round trip) 5 days per week. I change the oil around every 3k miles using standard 5-20 oil, ) or whatever the book says. While I don't idle down the road like an old lady with a birdcage in the seat next to me, (remember that cartoon) I DO respect the cars age. I don't take curves like I'm testing tire stability, and I don't jackrabbit start at stoplights. I do drive 5-10 miles over the speed limit. This car is proving itself to be reliable, pretty comfortable for its size, and good on gas mileage. I actually get the 19/24 it's represented to get. The one downside is the refueling is slow. I'm taking it to the dealership to get that fixed- and get a schedule of what I need to maintain and when. I think this car will go 500k if I treat her right. Crossing my fingers.
